one side or the other of the rows connectors there may be some
identification?

The M3020 (and M1131) are variants of the M302 (and M113, respectively), so I
don't think those are much of a clue. The M5950 I couldn't find anything
about at all, but the M595 is a current mode converter for

I was checking one of my rack and saw a rack-mount system unit
without any labeling. It consists of a 2-row wire-wrap backplane
and a power supply. Looking at the rear side I can read which
modules are installed in the backplane.
In the upper row are the following modules:
