i'm getting the following from cdrecord:

Track 07: audio 39 MB (03:56.66) no preemp
Track 08: audio 54 MB (05:22.84) no preemp
Track 09: audio 36 MB (03:35.49) no preemp
Track 10: audio 27 MB (02:41.33) no preemp
Track 11: audio 46 MB (04:39.17) no preemp
...
what exactly is "preemp"? it sure looks like an error message to me.
if it is, what can i do to fix the situation?
i've done a search on the net, and can't find much info about the "no preemp"
message. i've found a reference to it on man cdrecord, but to be honest,
i don't really understand it. i didn't even know that cd's HAVE a toc...
