Growiso doesn't work properly with LG GSA4163B burner and DVD+RW 8x discs.
Burning speed is about 4x (even when burner speeds up switching from 4x zone to
8x - it's a ZCLV burner), it's well visible with K3b. There's no problem with
all other types of media, including DVD-R 8X. It's certainly

Thomas, you cracked me and i finally tried out cdrskin - it behaves just like
growiso, first zone ok, second zone slowly.
Growis with option "speed=6" works properly, "speed=8" like without speed
option. But what's interesting growiso+K3b and speed set at 6x records at 3.5 -
4x, when 8x is ch

To be quite sure my system doesn't cause problems related with speed i
borrowed a nec writer and did some test - of course everything was ok. When i
was replacing burners back i inserted plug upside down and now won't be able to
do test proposed by Thomas. Thank you for cooperation, we must aba
