cd duplicate problem

hi all i have two cd-drives in my system. 1. cdrom -samsung 2. cdrw -sony. (copying fedora 3 discs) i want to copy from cdrom to writer.when i use xcdroast or directly cdrecord -v dev=0,1,0 /dev/scd0 it is saying --- Error trying to open /dev/scd0

iam using Redhat 9. cdrecord 2 has came along with that cd. i dont think it is duplicate one. cdrecord -v dev=0,1,0 speed=24 -isosize /dev/scd0 i tried this command it is somtimes hanging. sometimes says : Error trying to open /dev/scd0 exclusively ... iam sure no process has opened /dev/scd0.

how can i burn / f ile system on cdrw

hi all , i need to burn 1) bootable image of linux / filesystem which will run by itself at bootup and formats harddisks and creates / in the harddisk. 2) above part has to be constant part in the cdrw. in the remaining part of cdrw i will be adding deleting some files. i wrote bootable

hi all how to blank a track

hi all i am new to this list. i want to blank a few last written tracks from the CDRW. thir is blank=track option is thir for cdrecord. if i have 5 tracks of data on cd-rewritable, i want to blank last 3 tracks can anybody tell me how can i. iam using Redhatlinux 9 on p4.

hi all , i dint know how to blank last few tracks.i tried with blank=session option for cdrecord.which will delete the last track written.if we run more times it will go on deleting previous sessions.this looks enough for me.(but i just want to know how to delete particular track by using
