I would like to know which tools are out there to verify burned CD's/DVD's and
which tools or ways are out there for linux to see what quality my burned
media is. I can verify a burned media with cmp. But this doesn't give any
information about quality.

I usually calculate the md5sum of the iso image before
writing it to the disc. After successful write I use
readcd to read the iso image back, calculate its md5sum
and compare.
