It turns out kdump.service is already enabled on the server and /etc/kdump.conf settings would report any kernel crash/error items to /var/crash. The /var/crash file/folder is empty. It leads me to think the kernel is not crashing; however, I could be wrong. I'll need to perform another test "syste

Hi, I have CentOS 7 with KDE installed on my workstation. Sometimes - like just now - the system refuses to shutdown correctly. The problem appeared since I installed the OpenVAS vulnerability scanner (the one from EPEL), so I don't know if this is linked. When I try to shutdown the system, I see

Everyone, It is apparent that the epel version of denyhosts on Centos 7 which is denyhosts-2.9-4.el7.noarch does not resynch with : SYNC_SERVER = http://xmlrpc.denyhosts.net:9911 According to : https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=56989 the problem is related to a version update

Here is my complete setup with Docker for example. what I use: CentOS and Mate Desktop,systemd and VNC. It provides additional OpenVPN and Tor. Mate works better as gnome desktop. If somebody is interested. Downloaded adobe and nux repo for VLC (needs to be hacked to run as root). https://gith
