With Firefox updated to firefox-78.3.0-1.el6.centos.x86_64, I cannot get sound
from Firefox. I've tried restarting pulseaudio, also logging out and logging
back in. No help. Other A/V apps work just fine. Downgrading to
firefox-68.12.0-1.el6.centos.x86_64 makes sound work again. For now, I've
try the camera in a USB 2 port, it should work just fine at usb 2 speeds.

I have an old external harddisk, Toshiba 320 Gb, with a USB connector that I
wanted to check for contents. It did not start up when connected and I could
not hear the motor spinning. After leaving it in the freezer overnight the
motor spins but it is not recognized by my computer. I disassembled
OK all .. RHEL 7.9 source code updated today.
I am currently working to start the build of CentOS 7 based on that
[CentOS 7 (2009) ].
Currently, we need to bootstrap and then build llvm-toolset-9.0 and
rust-toolset-1.41 as some of the released packages need those toolsets.
