Hi Folks,
I'd like to install cyrus-imapd 2.4 in CentOS6.
Found rpm cyrus 2.4 for CentOS6 on rpmseek.
cyrus-imapd-2.4.17-30.1.x86_64.rpm
But there are conflicts with postfix 2.6.6.
Can I ignore this conflicts or is there a suitable version of ppstfix
available?

I've installed a WIN-XP guest successful (conversion from a VMWare-Image)
Everything works fine - expect USB-Devices.
I've installed connected USB-Stick with virt-manager but in the WIN-XP guest
no device accessible.
What goes wrong?

Ndiswrapper works correct after installing Kernel-Modules from atrpm
ndiswrapper-kmdl-2.6.18-53.1.19.el5.centos.plus-1.52-16.el5.i686.rpm.
But by calling wpa_supplicant with
wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -D wext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/
It works with the Kernel-Modul from atrpms

works.
I can see ndiswrapper -l

But after modprobe ndiswrapper the system freezes.

I'm using VMWare on a Linux Host (CentOS) with a Linux-Guest Sidux).
And I'd like to use NFS.
Furthermore I'd like to use the Firewall in CentOS with this little GUI.
If I activate this firewall then my Guest says "no route to host" on mounting
nfs.
Firewall disabled -> no problem occur
I intend to realize the connection to the Internet by WLAN (at the presen time
DSL cable modem).
The WLAN DSL-Router should not be the problem. But which wlan-
adapter (internally (PCI), USB... whatever) can be recommended for a
work "out of is the box" with cent OS 5?

Hi Folks,
I'm verry impressed about CentOS 5. Verry stable und fast.
And yes, I know, it's mostly used as a server system. Nevertheless, I'd like
to use it as my Desktopsystem also.
My question: what is your experience with the KDE-Repos? Is it dangerous to
use it? Or is it reliable?
