I installed a CentOS 4.7 server, the system information is:
# cat /etc/sysconfig/network
NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=mail.domain11.com
# hostname
mail.domain11.com
#echo "test " | mail -s "test mail" some...@domain22.com
