What I've tested so far in a testcluster:

1. create a new realm with the same name (just swap two letters)
2. remove the realm
3. get the periods file from the .rgw.root pool
4. correct the name at the end and switch out the two realmid
5. upload the file again
6. change the period for the realm with realm set
7. period update; period update --commit

This looks like it is correct, but I am not sure if this is the correct way.

Does someone got another way to do this?
