Most of my OSD nodes are equipped with low voltage xeon (L5420) processors what
is probably somewhat of an overkill. For that reason I run them with other
services as well. However the board you are suggesting could be the answer for
less power consumption on the OSD nodes.
That still leaves me
Dear Ceph-users,
I was wondering if I could use a raspberry PI exclusively for ceph mons only.
Well, it doesn't have to be a raspberry pi of course, but some cheap, no fan,

Well, no. Thank you! :) Lots of hard work went in this product and we are all
just using it for free. Thank you really!... ok here it is:

Hi,
It seems that all my pgs are stuck somewhat. I'm not sure what to do from here.
I waited a day in the hope that ceph would find a way to deal with this... but
nothing happened.
I'm testing on a single ubuntu server 13.04 with dumpling 0.67.2. Below is my
ceph status.

some of you can help me out.

Sorry to have bothered you all with my previous question, because I have found
it myself.
I first uninstalled ceph-deploy with "apt-get purge ceph-deploy" and then
reinstalled it again.
I also noticed that when creating the first cluster with "ceph-deploy install
mynode" the ceph.conf file is

Dear ceph-users,
I'm trying to get the ceph monitor use a exclusive partition on my ssd drive.
However, how should I prepare it?
I want to do something like this:
Ceph-deploy mon create mynode --mon-data /dev/sda5
Or
Ceph-deploy mon create mynode:/dev/sda5
/dev/sda5 is a 16GB partition on a 1

Also, aren't there 2 types of transactions; one for writing and one for
replicating?

dear ceph-users,
although heavily active in the past, i didn't touch linux for years, so I'm
pretty new to ceph and i have a few questions, which i hope someone could
answer for me.

Dear Ceph Developers and Users,
I was wondering if there is any download location for preinstalled virtual
machine images with the latest release of ceph. Preferably 4 different images
with Ceph-OSD, Ceph-Mon, Ceph-MDS and last but not least a Ceph-Client with
iscsi target server installed. But
