writings, and she's trying to do it with the low end Sound Recorder
that came with the OS.
Any suggestions for inexpensive audio recording software.
Intended end result is CD.

Every now and again my hard drive gives a big click sound and freezes my
machine. Rebooting sometimes helps and othertimes not. I get a LOT of corrupted
files and just lost my really important mozilla bookmarks. Anyone have a clue
what the big click might be. Am I doomed?
