Bureau signed a long term deal to make Clipper the standard desktop database
application environment. It expired a few years ago (probably should have died

I don't know Taxwise but I do know FoxPro, to my everlasting shame, and it is
not SQL, it is dBase. That is the product that made Ashton-Tate and destroyed
Borland.
FoxPro is an MS engine to use dBase files with SQL like statements. It also
allows you to build GUIs, etc. IIRC, MS is dropping

I have been fortunate. My children have gone to "good"
daycares/preshcools and didn't spend a lot of time there. I drop them
off between 8 and 9 and my wife picks them up between 3 & 4. Pretty
short day compared to a lot of kids in daycare. The only ill effect I
