I have Eric Meyer's "Cascading Style Sheets, The Definitive Guide" from O'Reilly. It is a very good book for explaining how CSS works. CSS is a PITA, largely for the same reason that AJAX is a PITA- conformance to standards. Be prepared to have testing done from lots of different browsers- IE 6, IE

That is why I am still using Office 2003. I just saved a file with this name and it worked fine. I did use the trial version of Office 2007 and I thought it was pretty cool.
