iPhone commercial on TV for ten seconds and said, "I want that!" She had not

E85 is cheaper than regular unleaded but only on a per gallon basis.
Use it to avoid using foreign oil, and feel good about it, but don't
expect to save money using it :)

The reason that the gas mileage is lower is that Ethanol doesn't burn as
efficiently as gasoline, nor does it have the same energy per volume as
gasoline.

It's not accurate that Octane = mileage, Octane = a smoother running engi
It has higher octane, so you get more power, but it takes more fuel to
run your car because it has a different oxygen content. Or something
like that. It's because FFV aren't optimized for ethanol.
