You could raid 0 + 1, but that would take 4 drives and give you the capacity of 2 drives. =) You stripe 2 drives together for speed, then you mirror that stripe set to another identical stripe set for redundancy. I run RAID 5 at home, it's the best compromise if you have a decent RAID controller.
