If anything would make me quit using gmail, the new UI is it. The fact
that I can't get the old UI or something as efficient is a pain.

I've been using the web interface exclusively for both personal and work
email for years now and love it. Change happens.
I have been using the web interface for the last year now because I have
to, and really I see no problems with it. maybe because I have been using
it every day for a year I am just used to it or something, I don't know. I
have not heard of anyone else complain about the new interface either.

I felt the same way the first week they rolled it out on my accounts.
I was not a happy camper at all. I ended up, like Maureen, setting it
into Compact mode and that helped ease the pain a bit. It's grown on
