I first heard this interview a few months ago, and they replayed in
after he died. It left me speechless both times, especially the part
about Terezin. Warning, despite who this is, the interview is quite
intense and imho way too disturbing for children. But brilliant.

He'd been in failing health and hasn't seemed very happy since the
passing of his long time partner a couple years back, so probably
about this time. Still sad to see. He has produced not only iconic
books but I've always been incredibly impressed by his approach to
literature.
