Yeah...that would suck. Did you hear about all the numbnuts that decided to
stay at home on Coney Island that are now sending distress calls and it is
currently impossible to send out rescue teams to get them?

Just heard it hit 13.88 ft. Reports of up to 4 feet of water in

Yeah...it is pretty bad. Battery Park is reporting a 12.75 foot storm

that some of the subways have about 4 feet of water in them.

He was saying it's immoral to keep writing blank checks. If you spend
money for emergencies, you need to cut something somewhere else.
That's common sense.
Larry is the one spinning it to sound like it's immoral to rescue people.
That's what happens when you get news from MotherJones.

Kidding, kidding.
Seriously though, if you want an instigator, in this case, it's Larry. He

So from the sounds of it Sam has no problem with what happened in New

disaster relief.
Good to know the next time you're in a natural disaster and start
whining about the lack of help.

The use of the word "immoral" cracks me up. I can see people arguing that
the relief should be organized at the state level...that's fine. But
"immoral"? As if the level at which aid is successfully managed is an
ethical question
I just don't get that.

They were following the earlier forecast, one that had Sandy going to

the track changed substantially. Lets not forget that it was a 60 year
