I am looking at ways of improving life here for myself and anyone in the future. We have tonnes of small applications/reports/utilities that we have created and inherited. It is quite cumbersome to trace every component. I am looking for an application that will allow me to make an inventory of all these processes. I would like to be able to make extensive notes as to what stored procedures/views/email process etc are used. A web based application preferably in ColdFusion or non-web based, maybe even in access would do the job.
Any recommendations? Nothing fancy or expensive. Would rather get an application and customize it for our use.
