Thats how Best B uy does everything...at first..They used to do that
with Cellphones and Digital Cameras now they send them to get
serviced... most of the time it all depends on weather the
manufacturer will give them credits for the defective product...

No Toshiba's warranties REALLY rock, just bought a new Tecra Laptop, 3 year
warranty, and for $50 I decided to buy the overnight turnaround option where
they will pay for overnight shipment in both directions and send me a loaner
laptop :-)
