I'm on the KS side. Generally when we go wine shopping, we'll pick up a bottle or two that we've had before and know that we like. A bottle or two of wines that have been recommended by friends/acquaintances, a bottle or two with a high rating on it (87+ on the "wine tasters scale" or whatever
