His point was forget about that browsers, focus on the future which is
portables. That doesn't mean take down Web sites, it means stop trying
to build a Facebook or Google and look to the next generation of apps
to make your fortune.
Of course he also prays to the Apple God but whatever.

support HTML5, it is little more than vaporware. I took the time to
learn it. I did some basic site functionality for audio and video in
it. But I refuse to invest further effort until it works in at least
most of the browsers.

He's saying all new development should focus on the iPad and iPhone or
the next $billion idea is going to be an idea that maximizes the use
of html5 with portables.
