They are technically 2 different schools (I think), but a lot of the
classes are intermixed - a lot of the students in the classes I have
taken are from AMU. The cool thing about this is that for my
electives, I can take classes like: A Military History of World War
II, 'Chemistry of Explosives' a
AMU and APU are a bit of a different setup. They're located near Scott
and are a CF shop. I think that their other offices are near me.

I am taking classes at APU - which is essentially the same school.
Most of my classes have had people from AMU in them. Most classes, I
think I was the only non-military person enrolled.

Bruce, the absolute perfect field for you is Information Security. At
your age, with your background, and your tech skills you would be a
perfect white hat hacker.

Well I'm going to try and stay in either Colrado Springs, or if I have to
move to Denver. I really want to stay in Colorado and never again live in
California if I have to. So yeah, I am going to change my major to IT. Just
waiting for the army to give me permission.

especially elder care, and everything around the elderly is set to explode
in the next five years. Geeks rule.

I really suck at languages. I am engaged to a philippina and she has tried

and really I know as much now as I did when I started the class. But that

Hi Bruce, I do IT management type stuff for a fortune 25 company and it seems
like there is plenty of room for new people to come in. If that's what you
want to do, you should be able to find a job in any major city and them
engineer a move to work from home and work from anywhere you want.
How about languages? A degree in languages these days might be worth
looking into. Roll that into the IT field, and helping companies translate
their infrastructure into other languages might just be a pretty cool place
to be ... That's if you like languages.
And I agree with you. Although teachi
I am currently contemplating changing my degree plan from Military History
to Information Technology Management. Since I have rejoined the Army I have
not paid any attention to the tech field nor future projections of jobs in
the near future. I retire from the Army in 2015. My initial desire was t
