And G MORNING everyone! :)
*waves merrily*
I'm back at work today after spending the entire day yesterday
setting up a multicast system using Windows Encoder would you
BELIEVE!?

It seems that Windows Encoder 7 refuses to work with one of the most
popular home video editing and capturing cards on the
market today, the ATI Rage 128 PRO ALL In Wonder.
*sigh*

So see us trying to hunt down another card to use in the computer, we
eventually got an Osprey 100.

And THEN we had to call all points of Trinidad to see if they were
getting the feed, and they were..which meant that most of
the routers were configured correctly to allow multicast.

Except the Off shore oil rigs. THey weren't seeing a damned
thing..and stilla aren't!

So I'm going to suggest the try to hook to the Windows Encoder
directly via IP and see if they can get the feed that way. I
was unsuccessful in setting the one Media Server as both a Multicast
and a Distribution station. :(
Multicast worked..setting it as a Distribution did not. I guess I
have a little time today before 2:30 pm to try to get it to
work as both so that people can just hit the media server directly to
get hte feed instead of the encoder.

Oh! They also wanted a page set up that had the stream playing as an
embedded control, and below it a java chat thingy going
so people could ask questions. All this for 2:30 today.
I'm thinking of using CFCHAT to do it.

Fun Fun :)
