I have had a hotmail account from almost the beginning. I keep it now
just because i have has it so long. To me something has always felt a
little off with the interface. It just never clicked. Plus, they do
a terrible job of spam filtering.

the "slick" interface never worked quite right with Firefox, and the
bits that did sucked anyway. they just needed more talented people
than they had, or maybe less bureaucracy.
