She went quickly. Two weeks from the date of the final diagnosis.
She was a Literature teacher for most of her life, and he was reading
Lewis Carroll's Jabberwocky to her when she simply let out a few deep
breaths and passed. It was a fitting end. I'll pass along your
condolences.

Actually, this would NOT surprise me in the least.
Jobs a
Pancreatic cancer is a horrible disease (not to belittle other types
of cancer). It is very aggressive and prognosis is rarely good.
My sympathies to your partner. I hope that she passed the way my dad
did, at home surrounded by those who loved her.

I am not a big fan of Jobs and the way he ran Apple. However, stepping
down leads me to believe that his health is failing and...well...I
think that sucks.
If I remember correctly, he had/has cancer. After seeing what cancer
did to my father, I would not wish that on my worst enemy.

it isn't on Netflix streaming. :(

Product managers should be able to keep on, keeping on but if you look
at Apple's history, when they've done well it is because they switched
directions on a dime. Ten years ago, Apple was a small, marginalized
computer manufacturer. Now it is a digital lifestyle and consumer
entertainment product
product managers should be able to keep, keeping on...

This should shake the markets up a bit. I'm curious what changes, if
any, it portends for Apple.
