TextMate is also quite good. I know that there is a syntax/autocomplete
bundle for CF but I don't know how recently it has been updated. TextMate
supports a wide variety of languages and has some neat features like column
editing mode.

+1000 for Larry's suggestion, Notepad ++ is my goto when my Citrix
environment decides to drag. There's a ColdFusion plug in available for
it.

I'll have to look at my copy again when I get home to be sure but I open up
a CF file and there is syntax highlighting.

I'll check it out but seriously I'm not looking for a new editor. I'm in
weaning myself off of Dreamweaver because they drop CF support. I'm relearning
eclipse now and it's coming along at this point.

If you have a mac there are two that are very good, TextWrangler with full
colour coding and syntax highlighting and Texttastic, with the same and
adds a lot of other bells and whistles
For the PC there's NotePad++. While out of the box it has nothing for CF,
Brian Malone has a good blog posting
Better than windows.

I'm working on an older machine. I've picked up some side work and I'm
trying to get up to speed.
I was an eclipse guy and homesite/Studio before that.
All I really need is color coding, insight would be nice but not required.
What's out there? 32 bit Win XP?
