I had to laugh a little at that as it reminded me of an old Winston
Churchill quote.
"Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on who to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well armed sheep protesting the outcome of the vote.

that's a real canard.

sadly there is REALLY no way to know.
i think the ONLY clue i have to gruss' existence
is the way his email system changes peeps names
to his nicknames for us... i remember a person on here
who used to do that, and then left... and then that same
behaviour reappeared with the advent of gruss...

It was a good fair.
The night before I saw a concert in the grandstand, and on Sunday went back
just for the music at that little hut (before hitting up the Mall, and then
the airport).
Best food: hushpuppies on a stick. Best artwork: fair queen butter sculpture
carving. Best animal: tiny goats.

That's like the best album on the fair I've seen (not that I've
looked) but it's really good.
I've been to a few different Fairs and RenFests but it seems like MN
has the best.

Some places it is not only a food group, but a specific section of the state
fair. Marked on the map.

Yeah, plus he's scruffy like a Canadian and I think I heard him say "eh" once.
And if anyone's eating fries with gravy and
We certainly aren't going to admit he is American.
Blame Canada!
(b. Flint Michigan, resides Traverse City. So that is close enough to
Canadian.)

ba DUM BAH!
That was pretty funny. Reminds me of a Jay Leno joke:
"Yeah, apparently Wal-Marts will have a Santa Claus in their stores
this year ... how will you be able to spot him? He'll be the
skinniest guy in the place"
Michael Moore is Canadian?
