Trackball all the way. Have one on every PC in the house (five at the
moment) and work (2).
Great for FPS's as well.

Yeah. I agree it's nice. The hard part I'm having with Mac's is that a lot
of the "features" kind of seem like much ado about nothing. I'm trying to be
a Mac guy, but most of the time I just find myself asking "so THAT'S what

Multitouch? No.
As Medic pointed out some have an area on the side of the pad that has
a special purpose, but that's very different than multitouch (and I
don't really like it, the hit area is too small).

Yeah it's nice. Though almost every laptop you can use the right-most and
bottom-most areas of the touch pad as a scroll bar.

It took me a couple days to get used to, but now regular mice drive me

I love the trackpad when I am just using my laptop by itself. Somehow I
cannot get used to the pad when it is external. Weird.
So hard to go back and try and use a PC pad now. They just feel...I
dunno...DUMB.

You can change all your Keyboard shortcuts to the PC ones in the
System Preferences panel somewhere btw.
I still have to do that.
I find Command + Option + Arrow key to be just lame compared to CTRL +
arrows to jump back and forth between words etc.

To each his own I guess.
I bought the trackpad the day it came out and hated it. I promptly returned
it for the magic mouse, which I love. I had to change the way that I held
the mouse a bit, but once I did I realized that the new position is actually
less stressful on the wrist.

For multitouch I think I prefer the trackpad:

That magic mouse seems to have been built for kids - too tiny for the
average man sized hands. Gripping it requires contracting your hand
too much and it tends to bother the muscles in my hand after awhile.

I like my trackball mouse but when I saw this one, I found it interesting
enough to consider using it.
I hate using the mouse. More shortcut keys please.
