It is strange. Many studies over the years have determined that Arial and Verdana are the easiest to read online. If for some strange reason you think it's hard to read that's fine. But to tell someone to change the font of a Web site because you think that Arial is hard to read is strange to me.

Verdana is a MS font. Arial was a knock off of Helvetica, which is not an MS font. While Verdana may be specifically designed for the Web, that doesn't make others bad. Most online newspapers are still use Arial, Helvetica. Now if she said Times new roman or any other serif font I'd have agreed
