It is very different.
But can it last?
there is no end -game for these protests. There is no opposition party
waiting in the wings, or no resistance force that can take power even
temporarily ahead of some sort of elections.
So these people are protesting, but the present Regime did their job

One of the things that is really amazing me about the stories that
trickle out are the little things. Like the protesters who surrounded
the national museum of antiquities to prevent looters from stealing
ancient treasures until police could get there. Or protesters picking
up litter after battles
