of course. bottom line, you don't like it, but you also don't feel so
disenfranchised by it that you will fight for change. pushing
something like that is a huge commitment, so unless the payoff is
really big, it isn't worth it.

to, and once stated, you could ONLY vote for the people in that party. Which
is crap!
Because we liked people on the ballot from both parties for different
positions, therefore we couldn't vote for whom we wanted.

I thought a) was handled in most places by registering 'Independent' or
declining to state party on voter registration. This may also be a
matter of whether or not one gets to vote in party primaries which often
differ on the rules for voting in a general election.
