I was torn between Hyattsville and Greenbelt when I moved to the area in 1999. I ended up going with Hyattsville because the apartment was going to be ready sooner. It turned out to be a good thing because my car blew up shortly thereafter and I had to ride the bus/train. Check out Laurel as well
