schools). It's a pretty awesome set-up.
My corp email is Gmail and it's great!
You can add encryption support to an app that doesn't support TLS/SSL
(which GMail uses) using STunnel. I used this guide recently to do
that...

I keep thinking about it. Email servers are a hassle, and companies are
becoming stricter and stricter in routing rules. I think I may have to add
encryption to our server just to be able to route to and from some hosts who
don't allow unencrypted connections. PITA.
