theres a link in the story that says "view photos" or something like that.

Am I missing something? I only see the link to the Burning Man
location in the article. I don't see the tsunami, tokyo 747, volcano,
etc.

When I try to use google maps to look for something in Japan, it
doesn't seem to have image data.
