Couldn't be bothered with the 14th episode then? ;-)
It's only 14 if you consider the two hour pilot as 2 episodes.

I love Firefly.
I forgot how much I love it.
Yesterday, in my laid back, somewhat hungover state... I laid on the couch and
watched it -all- day. It ruled me.
Oh... and watched like 4 episodes of Commander in Chief. Why didn't anybody
tell me how great this show is?

I've never seen the series. Just saw the movie, liked it, figured if I saw a
good deal on the series I'd pick it up.
If you liked the movie, then you should like the series, all 13 episodes of it.
I still take a weekend and watch all of them every couple of months.

that is correct.

That's saved a number of films like Troy. If those are good it still
may convince the bean counters to either make a sequel movie or a mini

What's interesting about that is that while Serenity only made $10mil
in it's opening weekend, it was top in the box office, handily beating
out the other new releases. And because of that, it's being panned as
a failure.
Now compare that to Pride and Prejudice which got a mere $2.8 mil on
