Actually Ford has a couple Fuel Cell cars in road tests now, as well as a couple other technologies they are working on. (Ford Focus FCV and the Ford P2000) Range is about 100 miles. http://www.thinkmobility.com/technologies/ Maybe someday cars will run on cold fusion ;-) jj

Apparently there is an engineer in Vancouver or Victoria BC that has developed a hydrogen engine for motor vehicles and they ARE being used on city buses out there., The engine breaks the bond in the H2O molecule, burns the Hydrogen and the waste product isH2O. Too cool or what? But
