I just paid $2.84 this morning. Not bad considering what I was paying a
month ago.

Bet'cha $20? I bet that the gas price as measured by something we'll
define will be higher 1 month after the election.

stop already. the saudis can't set the price unilaterally. opec can't set

price of gasonline.

Where? We're still paying 98.9 - 102.9 in Leicester... The cheapest I've
seen was in Nottingham last week at 93.9 per litre...

um.. there has beeen new oil recently found.
Heard this morning that OPEC has targeted $60 a barrel for when they may
plan to adjust output to ensure price stability.
Or put another waywhat you just said :)

like an addition of 50% to our reserves!
Major U.S. oil source is tapped
Successful test by Chevron partners in deep Gulf waters could rival Alaska
in potential supply; U.S. reserves may swell 50 percent

seriously, gas is dropping because crude is dropping. crude is dropping
because supply is outstripping demand. opec isn't happy. they figured out
that the developed world can afford $70/barrel and they don't want to go
back to the days of $10/barrel for oil.

At that price its almost worth the drive down to
Yowch. You really get f*cked when it comes to vehicles over there. I've
only been there once (felixstowe and london), but from what I saw the roads
really suck too. Where the hell is all the tax money going?
I filled up my truck tonight - cost about $70. Now I don't feel so bad
about that. :)
