We've got a LOT of content on HoF and Google does not really index it all. I
tries, but some gets shuffled off into limbo on one of their 'reorgs' or the

I just leave all messages I get from HoF in my gmail and use its
search feature when I am looking for something. Works out pretty good
so far. Gmail is the sole reason I started to get back on the HoF
mailing lists, its ability to thread the discussions and archive them
out of sight/mind helps me

maildir if I ever want a local copy.
