True.. I remember looking at a catalog and hard drives capacity was
something like $100 per gig.. there's probably people older on the
list that know of worse times.
It might take a while to come down in prices but not as long as it use to.

I remember paying $300 for an extra 8 MB of RAM for my 486 back in
1996, I think it was.
$1000 for a 160 GB HD doesn't actually sound that bad for brand new technology.
