If it's a name brand computer, just go to Crucial and use their Memory
Advisor. It lets you select the manufacturer and model of the computer
and knows what memory it takes.

run faster than the bus speed.
Based on the amount and type of ram you mentioned, this is a PC100
board which was vintage at the time of the Pentium2/first gen P3,
