I have some friends to their Chicago show on Friday - That's really
stunning. I wasn't /into/ Pantera in HS, but I have a couple of their
albums. I'd heard from friends who'd met him backstage (way back in
Pantera days) that Darrell was a terrific guy and really open and
friendly with fans.
Yeah, a classic album. I saw them headlinging on the Vulgar tour as
well as supporting Megadeth on the Countdown to Extinction tour and
they were awesome.
The work he did with Anthrax on their Volume 8 and WCFYA albums was top too.
A big loss to the musical community, and an even bigger loss to h

Yeah, was a real shame to see that. I went off Pantera near the end
before they split but Dime was a hell of a guitar player.
