There are two certs on godaddy that might do what I want.
One is the one they actually call a wildcard cert, but the examples they

shop.domain.com
www.domain.com
private.domain.com
They other type is the Multiple (UCC), but they say:

We are hosting our sites with crystaltech. I have begun to consolidate
multiple sites under one account. Now I am running into two sites that need
certs, one the primary domain, one an additional domain. I am serving the
site based upon the domain requested with conditional code.

We use their standard SSL certs on a number of sites that we manage and have
not had any trouble with them over the last few years. As long as the

FreeSSL are GeoTrust certs.
I want to see https:// on any online transaction I am doing, and I
typically double check the company name I am buying from (if I do not
recognize them) by doing a quick google search on them.
Secure certs and dedicated IP's are a small price to pay if you plan on

Yeah, I remember the server cert was only around $500.00. But all the
client certs sure added up quick. I think they were around $80 ~ $100 a
piece and we needed about 75.

I'm not sure of what qualifications you need to be certified as a CA, but
I'm sure that they're probably pretty stringent. My situation works well

We will require SSL Certs. The ones at GoDaddy.com are much cheaper than Verisign by a factor of more than 10 times. Are they as good as the ones from Verisign or do we need to go with Verisign for some reason
