The Verve Pipe got dumped by RCA almost immediately after releasing
their third studio album on that label. IMO, "Underneath" was their
best production but hey at least RCA released it before dumping them

Take the St. Louis band STIR for example... put a self-titled album
out on AWARE Records (great little label!) before signing with Capitol
