I'm trying to spider a remote site for a client using Spiderzilla. For
whatever reason, it is acting awful today and does not want to do the
job.
Anyone have any tips on an automated site spider?

and discovered something interesting. The spider doesn't see the images
referenced in the stylesheet.
I'm trying to test some wysiwyg design tools and really want to push their
CSS support.

Okay then, take a look at winhttrack and check out the settings.
Rewriting links is a configurable option in winhttrack.
