I would switch my number. Especially for the rollover minutes. Carry two
phones for a while until all the important people have the new number,
then that's it. Switched.

I've done some research and decided on Cingular because of the rollover
minutes. Plugged my phone number in and it said I couldn't transfer it.
WTF?
Called them and they told me that since I live in Montgomery County in
Maryland, that that is not one of the 100 largest cities (I am in th
