Actually, I took a phone call a year or so ago from an elderly gentleman who
had apparently seen my site's mention of ColdFusion. He said that he'd heard
about Cold Fusion years ago and was wondering what was new with it. He was,
of course, referring to the scientific process, not the software. :)

I Disagree we built HUD's entire site with CF, they aren't going to switch
it. There are quite
a few Gov contracts out there using CF.

Hmm..that's an idea..
But based on what I said..would Java/.jsp really be a better choice than CF
in this particular instance, Ben?
Looking at the best solution to the project, rather than best overall
product or anything.
No one on staff knows java/.jsp to even an intermediate level.

We are doing a talk at tomorrow's CF Underground II on CF vs JSP. I am sure the
audience will get involved and we
will have a good discussion on this I will add your comments in from the islands
and we will post up the
results to share at http://www.cfconf.org/

Gods I knew I should have stayed home.
Imagine this..we have a Business 2 Business system to implement in the
timeframe of about 1 month.
The 'managers' want us to use .jsp against an Oracle backend, because ".jsp
