We suffered an incredible ice storm just 3 years ago, knocked out power to
half the population of Kansas City, and damaged an estimated 95% of the
trees in our area.
My power was out for 5 days. Needless to say, that got old. Hoping things
aren't quite as bad this time around.

Probably the beginning of the rain that's been going through here. If
so expect several days of it. Currently low 50s and cloudy,
thunderstorms in the forecast.
