This is my work computer. If I want games, I use my Wii for that! :)
I quit using computers for games years back when I had to keep buying
new video cards every six months. I think the last game I bought was
Doom 3 -- it wouldn't run great on my hardware so I said "screw it".

8.10 -- it booted to a black screen with only a mouse cursor. Has to
do something with my hardware config I think. I've got an NVidia NVS
290. Anyway, I had to edit my xorg.conf file and add a "vesa" driver
line.

I'll give it a week or so for anything really ugly to shake out before I try
on
